ORDER

How do I buy something?

Step 1 – Select the product you would like to buy.

Step 2 – Select “ADD TO CART”

Step 3 – Select “Proceed to Checkout”

Step 4 – Enter your relevant Shipping and Billing address details (Make sure to fill in all 4 lines under the Shipping/Billing details). Please make sure the delivery address is available between 8:00 and 17:00 during weekdays as this is the time our couriers deliver.

Step 5 – Select your payment method.

Step 6 – Select “Pay Now” and you’re good to go!

  •  Please note that we cannot deliver to a P.O Box. If you would like it to delivered to a PostNet or other postal service branch, please make sure they are aware of the delivery and will allow the delivery of
    the parcel.
I’ve just placed my order, now what?
  • You will receive an email confirming your order and that your order is now processing. (Check your spam folder as they sometimes end up there)
  • If you are shipping within South Africa, your order will be shipped to you within 2-5 days since placing your order.
  • You will receive an email with tracking details as soon as your order is picked up by our trusted couriers. Once picked up your order should be delivered with 2-4 business days if delivery is occurring within
    South Africa, depending on where you are located.
I’m having trouble with the courier and the delivery is not going to plan.
  • Your order is our responsibility until it is delivered to your door, and you are completely satisfied with your order. We will do our absolute best to ensure that your package is delivered as soon as possible. If you have received tracking details for your order, please contact the courier directly, as they will be able to assist you most efficiently whilst your parcel is in their care.
  • If you have not yet received tracking details, send an email to info@jimsa.co.za, and we will gladly
    assist you.
  • Please take note that we simply cannot guarantee that your parcel will be delivered at a certain time. If you are nervous that you may not be at home, rather add a place of work where someone will be at all times as your delivery address.
  • When tracking my parcel, it says that it is delivered but I do not have it. The courier will be liable if they cannot trace the parcel and redeliver, it to you. Please notify us on info@jimsa.co.za  of this issue and we will address this with the courier and make certain that you receive your product.

Where can I find stores?

We do not have any retail stores, but don’t stress, we offer door to door courier throughout South Africa.

Do you ship internationally?
  • Although we don't yet offer international shipping as a standard option when checking out, we'd
    be happy to make custom arrangements to ship your order to an overseas address please contact us with your specific requirement (ex. item you are interested in & ship to  address so we can give you a cost estimate.
  • Regrettably, we do not offer international returns or exchanges.

SHIPPING

How long until I receive my order?
  • Delivery times depend on where you’re based and what you’ve ordered, but we’ll always do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
  • Major cities & metro areas: 2-3 working days      
  • Outlying or regional areas: 3-5 working days
  • Made to order items: Please keep in mind that we work with some suppliers who have production lead times or where products are made to order, and we don't keep stock of products at this time - where a product has a lead time this will be clearly indicated on the product page. We will keep you regularly informed about your order progress and expected shipping date via email.
  • Should your order include a made to order item, we’ll do our best to ship the other in stock items in the meantime and ship the made to order item, once manufactured, in stock and ready to be shipped.
  • We’ll send you a shipping confirmation email as soon as your order is on its way – complete with a tracking link so you can follow its journey to your door.
  • Please keep in mind that these are estimate timeframes, and deliveries might take a little longer during busy seasons, or due to courier delays.  
Can I change my delivery address?
  • Yes, but only if your item has not yet been shipped.You’ll have to send an email to info@jimsa.co.za to make this change. If your item has already been shipped, a change in address won’t be possible.
What happens when my item is out of stock?
  • If an item is out of stock, it should reflect as such on our website.
  • If an item is completely out of stock, please sign up to be notified when an item comes back into stock, so that you are first to hear about its return.
  • Unfortunately, due to the digital nature of online shopping there is an opportunity for an order to go through for an item that is out of stock. If for whatsoever reason the item your ordered is out of stock, our team will immediately notify you and do their best to find a solution that suits you.
Which courier will delivery my order?

We use two couriers to deliver orders throughout South Africa; The Courier Guy and MDS Collivery. The courier chosen to deliver your order largely depends on where you are located and what the volumetric weight of your order is.

PAYMENT

What Payment Methods do you offer?
  • PayFast: Our online payment gateway that accepts Debit and Credit cards. You will be required to fill in your card details, this is a secure platform. All our transactions are managed by PayFast, one of South Africa’s most secure payment gateways and carries the highest level of PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliance. Your card information will not be saved on our system, nor can it be traced, intercepted or seen by unauthorised 3rd parties.
How do I know my payment has been received?
  • Once payment is successful, you will receive an email confirming your order and stating that your order is now processing. Have a look in your spam folder as well, some of our mails end up in there sometimes.
Is this safe?
  • All our transactions are managed by extremely reputable and secure payment gateways. Your card information will not be saved on our system, nor can it be traced, intercepted or seen by unauthorised 3rd parties.
  • Your data is protected by the POPIA act of 2013.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Can I exchange or return my purchase?
  • Yes, we offer returns in certain conditions, please refer to our Returns Policy

JimSA strongly recommends all products are fitted by a Qualified, Insured & Highly Experienced 4x4 Workshop.
